Midterm Demo Beta Version is coming!
For the beta version, I aimed to present a more upgraded senior project by adding background, objects, and sound.
A key improvement was learning to add images to Blender object backgrounds, which I worked to implement. While this works within Blender, I’ve encountered rendering errors, but I’m confident the issue will be resolved soon.
I also worked on smoothing the surface of the whale and adding various marine objects to create a more intriguing atmosphere, aiming to evoke a sense of harmony between space and the ocean.
I also explored creating Blender objects using AI tools as part of the Craft and Machine Learning Assignment for my senior project by using “BlenderKit”
Blender involves a lot of repetitive work, so I knew there was massive potential for using AI tools to speed up the process. However, I initially struggled with getting started and applying these tools effectively, which made taking the first step daunting. Through this course, I finally used AI tools for the first time.
This tool allowed me to easily create objects I couldn’t model before and helped me bring my ideas to life without much difficulty. At first, I was discouraged because many AI tools were paid for, and even after installing them, I couldn’t fully utilize them. After much trial and error, I discovered BlenderKit, a free software that incorporates AI capabilities, making it a perfect fit for my project. With it, I was able to easily create objects like space stations and other cosmic-themed assets that I previously couldn’t achieve. This has allowed me to work towards a richer and more polished senior project.
